After discussing your vision with a Weeks Homes Building and Design Consultant and having your site reviewed, Weeks Homes will provide you with a site-specific & professionally estimated quote to build your new house.

Your new home consultant will contact you to present your concept plans and associated quotation for your new home. Upon agreement to proceed with the knockdown rebuild, an acceptance fee is payable which will hold your quoted price for 12 months. 

You will meet with your New Home Sales Consultant to discuss the finer details of your design. They will help you to incorporate any final design options and ensure that your plan meets your expectations. This is your opportunity to review and advise any changes. 

This stage of your knockdown rebuild involves turning your house into your dream home using MyChoice Design Studio, including four appointments with Qualified Interior Design Consultants, this is where you will personalise your home. 

Signing your HIA Building Contract is an exciting milestone. The HIA contract is a standard industry agreement that will outline the obligations of all parties nominated within the final contract. 

From here, we will prepare a bank pack detailing all final costs and relevant information required to gain finance approval from your lender. 

Upon receipt of your finance approval, your land ownership (separate deposited titles are required where a sub-division is occurring) and Full Development Approval granted by Council, we will begin preparing for the commencement of construction!
 

In preparation for construction, we require you to engage an independent demolition company to clear the site. We can certainly assist in recommending contractors who we work with.  They will assist in managing the entire demolition process to get the land ready to build on. 

You are responsible for site preparation and engaging a demolition expert. While we aren't affiliated with any specific demolition company, we can provide contacts for your consideration. This provides you with the freedom to compare quotes and select a demolition contractor that is available when you require their services.

Every block of land and every house is different and comes with its own challenges, such as location, proximity to power lines, council connections, soil conditions, and potential asbestos. We recommend getting in contact with a demolition company for a free quote.
